Dishwasher Safe - Vietri recommends using a non-fragrant/non-citrus, non-abrasive detergent on the air dry cycle (or econo heat when available). It is recommended to place the dishes so they avoid touching during the high pressure dishwashing and as such we recommend you do not overload the dishwasher. Comprised of 18% chromium and 10% nickel, it offers strength, long-lasting performance, and a tarnish-resistant shine. Stainless steel is not stain proof. Ingredients found in tea, coffee, salad dressing, vinegar, and salt can cause discoloration. Pitting or spotting is usually caused by hard water or foods with high salt content. ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is a durable and impact-resistant thermoplastic polymer. Its high tensile strength and resistance to abrasion make it ideal for every day flatware.
