Shipping policy
Thank you for shipping with Agapanthus. We are small but mighty in our shipping capabilities, and truly appreciate your business and are personally here for questions and concerns.
Cut off for Christmas delivery:
Ground delivery is December 12, 2025.
Express delivery cut off is December 17, 2025.
As always, we strive to pack and ship your order with speed and care. During the busy season, we do everything we can to ensure timely delivery, working with carrier deadlines. However, please note that we cannot guarantee ground shipping for orders placed after December 12th, due to the UPS ground delivery deadline of December 18th for Christmas arrival.

General Info
We will ship your purchase in the U.S. (via UPS, FedEx, or USPS), Canada (USPS and UPS), and Europe (via USPS or DHL).
With years of experience, our shipping and handling estimates are typically accurate. Ocassionally estimates are incorrect on multiples of the same item. We can confirm your shipping should you wish to have confirmation prior to shipping. Overages in our estimates for shipping and handling are automatically refunded.

Store Pick Up
In store pick up is free. Please specify the Gainesville or Ocala location when you check out.
Delivery
For customers living near either our Gainesville or Ocala locations, we can deliver if needed. Delivery of local wedding gifts is our custom for in store and online purchases. All deliveries are done after hours, and not always available during the busy holiday season. Please request if delivery is needed.
Is this item a gift?
We provide complimentary gift wrap except on some oversized or fragile items that require extra packaging. Please email us an enclosure note with your order # at hello@shopagapanthus.com and we will hand-write an enclosure card for you send it with your gift.
Recycled Packing Materials
For items shipping out, orders are packed with care in our shop recycling materials we get from our shipments whenever possible. We pack as efficiently as possible, safeguarding fragile items.
Carriers
We ship via UPS and USPS, USPS, DHL, to United States, Canada, and Europe. For other shipping destinations or oversized items contact us for rates.
Processing and Shipping Time
We appreciate your online order and process all orders as quickly as we can, with most shipments prepared within 2 business days after receipt of your order. We request you allow 1-4 business days (Monday through Friday) for store processing, shipping time is additional and varies by carrier. Items requested "Express" will be prepared asap on business days.
After processing, please allow for shipping times as follows:
- Standard and Economy - 2-10 days business days.
- Express - 1 - 4 business days for arrival for items in stock, depending on shipping service selected.
- Out of Stock items - Allow 1 - 6 weeks. We will contact you regarding expected availability of the item.
- Shipping outside of U.S. - Canadian and overseas shipping times vary so cannot be provided.
Charges
We do our very best based on experience shipping similar items to accurately estimate your shipping charges. Charges including insurance and some packing, and are verified after packing. For over-estimations we issue refunds. If additional charges are required, will be notified for approval of any difference in shipping charges prior to release of your package should there be one. For Express shipments, we will use the fastest shipping time your fee allows, and of course contact you with any questions.
Insurance
Agapanthus insures all shipments. For fragile items and items over $100, sometimes the the insurance cost exceeds the estimate. We will contact you with any addition insurance fee should this be the case.
Damaged Items
We take special care to make sure all of your purchases arrive in showroom condition, and photograph prior to sealing your package. If you receive an item that is damaged in transit, please take a photo of the item, its container, and call us immediately at (352) 401-0800 or email hello@ShopAgapanthus.com. The packaging must be saved for inspection by the carrier. No refund or replacement will be issued if original packaging is not saved.
"Porch Pirates" and other Theft or Damage at Site of Delivery
Agapanthus requests confirmation of all shipments. Once delivery is confirmed, then it is the responsibility of the recipient to take custody of the shipment. Agapanthus will not be held responsible for shipments once delivery is confirmed by the carrier, and no refund or replacement will be given unless an insurance claim is filed and paid for lost, mis-delivered, or stolen item.
If you are concerned about theft, please request "delivery signature" on check out, or provide a secure address (such as business address) where shipment can be received securely. Use the "Notes" portion of the checkout page for additional info
Holiday Shipping Times
During the holidays (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and Christmas), it is often difficult to guarantee delivery prior to the date for "last minute" orders. We will do our best to pack everything as quickly as possible, but extra time must be allowed when the shop is busy during the holidays. Be aware that each carrier has cut-off dates when they will no longer guarantee "before holiday" express delivery times.
